Audacord stores only metadata — titles, links and your playlists — plus a shared clock that keeps every device on the same beat. The audio itself never touches our servers: when you press play, each track streams straight from its original platform's own player (the YouTube or SoundCloud embed), exactly as if you'd opened it there. That keeps playback fast and respects each source's terms.
Importing from Spotify? Spotify doesn't stream audio to other apps, so Audacord uses AI-assisted matching to find the same track on a playable source like YouTube or SoundCloud — then plays it from there, the same embedded way.
